William was born on September 3rd, 1691 in Burrough Green, Cambridgeshire, , England.  William's father was William Pledger.  His paternal grandfather is John PLEDGER and his paternal grandmother was Ede Loveday. He had a brother named Henry.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 72 on April 24th, 1764.
