Jean was born on September 18th, 1770 in Mouguerre, Pyrénnées-Atlantiques and his baptism took place there on April 18th, 1770.  Jean's father was Salvat Haran and his mother was Jeanne Blandie.  His paternal grandfather is Jean Haran and his paternal grandmother was Marie Doyhenart; his maternal grandfather was Jean Blandie and his maternal grandmother is Dominique Sorhyret ?. He had a brother named François.  He died after 1829.
