"Timothy Murphy" Baskins

"Timothy Murphy" was born in 1753 and his baptism took place in Detroit. "Timothy Murphy"'s father was William Baskins and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandparents were John Baskins and Elizabeth. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Moses, Margaret and Ann Nancy. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 87 on May 4th, 1840 in Sandwich Twp, Essex co, On.

General Notes
- Son premier prénom est inconnu. Il fut enlevé le 29 juillet 1756 lors de l'attaque des Indiens qui tuèrent son père le 29 juillet 1756. Par la suite, il fut emmené au Canada où il fit baptisé comme Timothy Murphy par un missionaire et retrouvé et élevé par sir William Johnson près de Détroit. Par la suite, Alexander Stephens le reconnu à cause d'une particularité de sa tête.
