Catherine was born about 1744.  Catherine's father was James Baskins and her mother was Elizabeth Mitchell.  Her paternal grandparents were John Baskins and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Mitchell, Sarah, Jane and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died in 1794 in Wilkes co, GA.
