Tito was born in 1900 in Piracicaba.  Tito's father was Arlindo Ferraz de Andrade and his mother was Delfina Rosa Sampaio Leme.  His paternal grandparents were Pedro Ferraz de Andrade and Ana Ferraz de Arruda Campos. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Andre, Pedro, Paulo, Sylas, Tercio, Arlindo, Dalila, Guiomar and Marieta.
