Josep was born on July 29th, 1914 in Sant Jaume dels Domenys.  Josep's father is Josep Palau and his mother was Consol Colet Ferrer.  His maternal grandparents are Mateo Colet Rafols and Dolors Ferrer Ferran.  He was an only child.  He died as a war casualty at the age of 24 on November 17th, 1938 in Valls.
