Josefa was born on February 14th, 1756 to Sant Martí Sarroca. Her godfather was Josep Somell del Montmell and her godmother was Maria Pons. Josefa's father is Josep Colet Sala and her mother is Teresa Coral Aluges. Her paternal grandparents were Josep Colet (Saumell) and Eulàlia Sala. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Pere, Josep, Antònia, Marina and Mª Àngela. Josefa and Antònia were twins. Josefa is no longer alive.-
