Joan was born on October 21st, 1861 in Vilobí del Penedés (Vallformosa). His godfather was Joan Tutusaus and his godmother was María Colet. Joan's father was Magí Colet Mas and his mother was Teresa Morgades Batet. His paternal grandparents were Josep Colet Esteva and Maria Mas Roca. He had a brother and three sisters, named Josep, Cristina, Teresa and Maria. He died due to a medical problem, Hipertrofia prostatica, at the age of 74 on June 11th, 1936 to Sant Martí Sarroca. The funeral took place on June 12th, 1936 to Sant Martí Sarroca. He was buried on June 12th, 1936 to Sant Martí Sarroca.Death Notes
