William was born on January 29th, 1701 in Worth, Sussex, England.  William's mother was Elizabeth. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Richard, Thomas, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  William is no longer alive.
