Margaret was born about 1206 in Kyle, Ayrshire, Scotland. Margaret's father was Sir Walter Fitz Alan le Stewart 3rd High Steward of Scotland and her mother was Beatrix De Angus. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Alan Fitz Walter 2nd High Steward of Scotland and Margaret De Galloway; her maternal grandparents were Gilchrist of Angus 2nd Earl of Angus and Marjory of Scotland. She had a brother named Alexander. She was the older of the two children. She died on October 27th, 1255 in Carrack, Galloway, Scotland.-
