Mahala Stephens 
Mahala was born in 1821. Mahala's father was George Stephens and her mother was Susanna Brister. Her paternal grandparents were John Stephens and Martha Mosey; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Brister and Susanna Edmunds. She had two brothers and a sister, named George, Elijah and Susanna. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 76 in 1897 in Tranmere, Merseyside, England.-
