Thomas Stanley 
Thomas was born about 1528. Thomas' father was Sir James Stanley (of Crosshall ) and his mother was Anne Hart. His paternal grandparents were Sir George Stanley (Lord Strange of Knokyn) and Joan Lestrange (Baroness Strange). He had three brothers and five sisters, named George, Henry, Edward, Margaret, Jane, Anne, Eleanor and Alice.-
