John Skillater

John was born in 1853 in Cople, Bedford and his baptism. John's father was William Skilleter and his mother was Ann Dickins. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Dickins and Elizabeth Witteridge. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Alfred, Jabez, Frederick, Arthur, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the seven children.
