George Murrie 
George was born on December 20th, 1807 in Dalgety, Fife, Scotland.1 George's father was Peter Murrie and his mother was Agnes Beveridge. His maternal grandparents were George Beveridge and Janet Muir. He had six brothers and four sisters, named David, John, James, Peter, Thomas, Peter, Janet, Agnes, Agnes and Grizel.-
