Daisy was born in 1885 in Middlesborough Durham, England. Daisy's father was Henry Mellowes and her mother was Lucie Matilda Job. Her paternal grandparents were William Mellowes and Sarah Ashby. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Arthur, Henry A., Joseph, Edith and Dorothy. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 73 in 1958 in Tiverton, Devon, England.-
