Finlay Malcolm 
Finlay was born on September 29th, 1804 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland and his baptism took place there on October 7th, 1804. Finlay 's father was John Malcolm and his mother was Catherine Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Finlay Malcolm and Isabel Mackie; his maternal grandparents were John Wilson and Janet McLauchlan. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Robert, Andrew , Janet, Isabella, Janet , Catherine (Kate), Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 35 on October 25th, 1839 in Barrackpore, Bengal, India.-
