Archibald Lyle

Archibald was born in 1890 in Rutherglen, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Archibald's father was James Lyle and his mother was Janet Ferguson. His maternal grandparents were Robert Ferguson and Susan Edgar. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, William Ferguson, Alexander, Susan, Elizabeth and Jenny. He was the youngest of the seven children.
