Margaret was born on December 24th, 1822 in Douglas Street, Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland.1  Margaret's father was Alexander Lochead and her mother was Mary Ann Thomson.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 32 on July 14th, 1855 in Craigs, Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.  She was buried in High Church Yard, Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.1
