John Home 
John was born in 1711. John's father was Joseph Home (of Ninewells) and his mother was Catherine Falconer. His maternal grandparents were Sir David Falconer (of Newton) and Mary Norvell. He had a brother named David. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 75 on November 14th, 1786.-
