Allan Herron 
Allan was born in May 1916. Allan's father was Henry Herron and his mother was Emily Ethel (Winkie) Downie. His paternal grandparents were James Herron and Janet Gentles; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Downie and Emily Louisa Cecilia Simpson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry Cecil, Leslie James, Andrew John, Jeannette Emily and Mary Isobel. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 27 in 1943 in Kia, Greece.-
