Annie was born on August 30th, 1903 in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.  Annie's father was Frederick Frith and her mother was Minnie Barber.  Her paternal grandparents were William Frith and Emma Raynes. She had a brother and three sisters, named Harold, Alice, Minnie and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 90 in 1993 in Hythe, Hants, England.
