James French

James was born before November 6th, 1831 in Bexley, Kent and his baptism took place on November 6th, 1831.  James' father was Henry French and his mother was Mary Anne Pannell.  His paternal grandparents were William French and Maria Woodhams; his maternal grandparents were James Pannell and Frances Unknown. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry Pannel, William, George Frederick, Emma and Selina Jemima.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
