Alexander Falconer (of Newton) 
Alexander was born on June 1st, 1682. Alexander's father was Sir David Falconer (of Newton) and his mother was Mary Norvell. His paternal grandparents were Sir David Falconer (of Glenfarquhar) and Margaret Hepburn. He had three brothers and three sisters, named David, Elizabeth, George, Margaret , Mary and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Alexander. He died at the age of 63 in July 1745.-
