George Douglas

George was born in 1520 in Pittendriech, Scotland.

Birth Notes

George's father was Sir Archibald Douglas (6th Earl of Angus) and his mother was Lady Isabel Stewart. His paternal grandparents were Sir William Douglas (of Glenbervie) and Elizabeth Auchinleck of Glenbervie. He had a sister named Janet. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named James, Elizabeth and Margaret. He died about 1590.
