David Dickins 
David was born in 1823 in Old Warden, Bedford and his baptism took place there on March 28th, 1823. David's father was Daniel Dickins and his mother was Elizabeth Witteridge. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Dickins and Mary Dear. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Daniel, Charlotte, Fanny and Ann. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
