James Delgaty

James was born about 1835 in Ayton, Berwickshire, Scotland.

James' father was Robert Delgaty and his mother was Margaret Pae. His paternal grandparents were James Delgaty and Margaret White; his maternal grandparents were John Pae and Margaret Gay. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Margaret, Elisabeth, Anne, Mary and Jane. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
