Hew Dalrymple 
Hew was born about 1710 in North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland. Hew's father was Sir Robert Dalrymple (of Castleton) and his mother was Joanna Hamilton. His paternal grandparents were Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple (1st Baronet Dalrymple) and Marion Hamilton. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles and Anne. He died on November 23rd, 1790 in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.-
