Josias was born on May 2nd, 1584 in Eastington, Gloucestershire, England. Josias' father was Richard Cloterbook (Clutterbuck) and his mother was Dorothy Unknown. His paternal grandparents were William Clotterbooke (Clutterbuck) and Margery Unknown. He was an only child. He died at the age of 40 in 1624.-
