James Chrystie

James was born on January 17th, 1634 in Kinglassie, Fifeshire, Scotland.  James' father was James Chrystie and his mother was Allison Currer. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Patrick, David, George, Helen, Janet, Marie, Allison and Marie.  He was the oldest of the ten children.
