Elizabeth was born in 1877 in Blaby, Leics, England. Elizabeth's father was James Bromley and her mother was Elizabeth Mellowes. Her maternal grandparents were John Mellowes and Sarah Unknown. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Albert, James, John Mellowes, Sarah Ann Mellowes (Now, Catherine, Martha and Nellie. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died after March 1881.-
