Mary Jane was born on June 4th, 1855 in Lymm, Cheshire, England. Mary Jane's father was Francis Bowker Bradburn and her mother was Sarah Collinge. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Bradburn and Harriet Rosthern; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Collinge and Hannah Unknown. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Peter, Elizabeth, Harriet, Ann and Lucy. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 40 on February 18th, 1896 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England.-
