Annie was born about 1870 in Lymm, Cheshire, England. Annie's father was Henry Bradburn and his mother was Sarah Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Peter Bradburn and Betty Cheetham. He had a brother named Harry. He was the younger of the two children.
