Joan Bisdee

Joan was born on January 20th, 1885 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Joan's father was Thomas Gamaliel Bisdee and her mother was Edith Sutherland Mitchell. Her paternal grandparents were Alfred Henry Bisdee and Sarah Butler. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Graeme Sutherland, Unknown, James Mitchell, Thomas Edward, George Alfred, James Sutherland, Marjorie Sutherland, Ruth, Beatrice Edith and Constance. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
