William Barlow 
William was born on January 26th, 1808. William's father was Robert Barlow and his mother was Ellen Hindle. His paternal grandparents were John Barlow and Elizabeth Scholes; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Hindle and Alice Fish (or Walmsley). He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Margaret, Mary and Alice. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
