Friedrick Sprecher

Friedrick was born on June 26th, 1848 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹ Friedrick's father was Friedrich Jon “Fred” Sprecher and his mother was Louise “Christine” Gruning (Sprecher) Grunning. His paternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). He had six brothers and four sisters, named Christian, Gottlieb, Carl, Samuel, August, Dan, Anna, Juliana, Louisa and Christina. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother named Michael. He died at the age of 22 on June 13th, 1871 in Josephdorf, Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹
