August Sprecher

August was born on June 26th, 1872 in Leipzig (Leibzig), Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹

August's father was Christian Albrecht Sprecher and his mother was Christina Braun (Sprecher). His paternal grandparents were Gottfried Sprecher and Anna Katharina Sokolosky (Sprecher). He had three brothers and a sister, named Christian, Wilhelm, Michael and Julianna. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Samuel, Anna, Louisa, Carolina, Justina and Anna. He died at just 28 days old on July 24th, 1872.¹
