Lenna's father was Albert Marsden Leichliter and her mother was Christinanna Grimm (Leichliter). Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Leichliter and Martha Williams (Leichliter); her maternal grandparents were Henry Cossel Grimm and Maria Kern (Grimm). She had a brother named Charles. She was the older of the two known children. She had two half-sisters named Dorothy and Elizabeth. She died on October 25th, 1874.
