John was born on February 1st, 1821.1  John's father was George Dull and his mother was Christina Younkin (Dull).  His maternal grandparents were Frederick G Younkin and Catherine Patton (Younkin). He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Frederick, Elizabeth, Catherine, Gertrude, Sally, Sabina, Mary and Lucinda.  He died in New Centerville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.  He was buried in New Centerville, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.1 1
