Raymond, known as Ray, was born on November 18th, 1915 in Hammondville, Bullskin township, Fayette County,  Pennsylvania, USA.  Ray's father was Edward Davis and his mother was Martha Faulkenstein (Davis).  His paternal grandparents are ? Davis and ? ? (Davis).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 78 in 1993.1 

Ray's family

Ray and Daphane were married in a religious & civil ceremony on July 13th, 1938 in Youngstown, OH.1   They had four sons and three daughters, named Raymond, Jim, Robert, Donald, Dit, Betty and Dianne.
