John Jordan 
John was born in 1825 in Leeds, Yorkshire and his baptism took place on February 20th, 1825 at St Peters Parish Church, Leeds, Yorkshire.1 John's father was Dennis Jordan and his mother was Harriet Oxley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Dennis, Mary, Elizabeth and Ellen. He was the third oldest of the five children.-
