John Harper

John was born in 1762 in Cakemore, Worcestershire and his christening took place on March 7th, 1762 at St Johns, Halesowen, Worcestershire.¹   John's father was Joseph Harper and his mother was Sarah Forest. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Joseph, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the five children.
