John Coates

John was born in 1736 in Otley, Yorkshire and his baptism took place there on December 26th, 1736.  John's father was Richard Coates. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Michael and Anne.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 2 on February 14th, 1738.
