Sarah Anne Ranns
Sarah was born in 1822 in Cavenham, Suffolk. Sarah's father was George Ranns and her mother was unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Beavis and Mary Ranns. She had a sister named Emily. She was the older of the two children. She had five half-brothers named Lewis, Henry, George, William and Frederick. She died at the age of 77 in 1899.-

Sarah and John were married in 1840 in Mildenhall, Suffolk. They had six sons and three daughters, named George, John, Charles, Louis, Henry, William, Louisa, Elizabeth and Emma.
