Joseph Parkin

Joseph was born in 1896 in Wheatley Hill, Co Durham.  Joseph's father was Thomas Wakefield Parkin and his mother was Isabella. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, Isabella, Edith, Mabel, Ethel and May.  He was the third youngest of the eight children.
