Albert was born in 1879 in Saxlingham, Norfolk.1 Albert's father was William Ellis Lincoln and his mother was Susannah Buck. His paternal grandparents were William Lincoln and Hephzibah Elizabeth Everrett. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Frederick, Arthur, Ellis, Ellen, Emma and Laura. He was the second youngest of the eight children.-
