Mary Farrer

Mary was born in 1847 in Nether Witton, Northumberland and her baptism took place there on May 15th, 1847.  Mary's father was Thomas Farrer and her mother was Anne Gibson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Farrer and Elizabeth Wanlace; her maternal grandparents were Luke Gibson and Ann Dixon or Dickson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Luke, Thomas, Isabella, Anne and Elizabeth.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
