John Boynton 
John was born in 1808 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire and his christening took place on September 4th, 1808.1 John's father was Robert Boynton and his mother was Ann Holmes. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Holmes and Ann Boys. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Robert, George, Joseph, William, Sarah, Ann, Anne, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 76 in 1884 in Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire. He was buried on January 1st, 1885 at St Bartholomew, Armley, Leeds, Yorkshire.2 3 -
