Margaret Bell

Margaret was born in 1854 in Witton Gilbert, Co Durham.¹   Margaret's father was John Bell and her mother was Hannah Hetherington.  Her paternal grandfather was William Bell; her maternal grandfather was John Hetherington. She had three brothers and a sister, named Henderson, James, William and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Wallace, John, James, Stephen, Joseph, Mary and Jane.
