William Barnfather 
William was born in 1752 in Lanercost, Cumberland and his baptism took place there on December 7th, 1752. William's father was William Barnfather and his mother was Mary Tallantyre. His paternal grandparents were James Barnfather and Jane Urwin. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Anne and Sarah. He was the youngest of the four children.
