    Theodore R. Ted Case Jr., 76, of North Catasauqua, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Dolores J. (Shimkanin) Case. Together they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in August. Born in North Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Theodore R. SR. and Florence H. (Gable) Case. Theodore was the laboratory control manager for eight years for Keystone Cement Co. before retiring in 1992. Previously, he worked for the former Universal Atlas Cement Co., Northampton, as a laboratory technician for 30 years until its closing. He was a member of Presbyterian Church, Catasauqua. He was also a member of the Catasauqua Lions Club, coordinator of the Catasauqua Food Bank with Presbyterian Church and St. Marys Church. He was instrumental in the early stages of the Northampton Atlas Cement Museum and offered time as tour guide. He also served as the former secretary for I.B.E.W. Union Local. He served his country in the National Guard for several years. He enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren. Survivors: Along with his wife, Dolores are two sons, Gregory C. and his wife, Lucille Case, of Longwood, Fla., Garrick T. and his wife, Deborah Case, of Mount Dora, Fla.; brother, Gerald and his wife, LaRue Case, of North Catasauqua; two sisters, Doris, wife of Willis Moser, of Whitehall, Phyllis, wife of Paul Balliet, of Northampton; brother-in-law, Daniel Diehl of Northampton; two grandchildren, Carolyne, wife of Philip Frey, of Northampton, Mitchell Case of Mount Dora; stepgrandson, David and Elizabeth Bookbinder of Toledo, Ohio; great-grandson, Spencer Frey; many nieces, nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Diehl, in 2003. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in Presbyterian Church, Catasauqua. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 in Schisler Funeral Home Inc., 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton and 9:30 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the church, with the Rev. P.
